B: In the previous session, I had a discussion with the instructor about the fear of the AI.

A: Nice. And what were the main points discussed?

B: The instructor was afraid of the AI.

A: Okay.

B: For example, Elon Musk said we should stop the progress of the AI. But he was making another AI. I think there is a concern, I agree with the concern, but there is no way to stop the progress of the AI already. Because there are a lot of people all around the world, and many people want it to progress. We don't have an effective method to stop those people all over the world.

A: So it's similar to cloning.

B: Sorry, cloning?

A: Cloning means making a copy.

B: Ah, I see. Human cloning.

A: I mean even if we don't do it here, in other places they will do it. So it's impossible to stop.

B：前回、講師の方とAIの怖さについてディスカッションをしました。

A：いいですね。で、主にどんなことが話し合われたんですか？

B：講師がAIを怖がっていた。

A：そうですか。

B：例えば、イーロン・マスクが、AIの進歩を止めるべきだと言った。でも、彼は別のAIを作っていた。懸念はあると思うし、その懸念には同意するが、すでにAIの進歩を止める方法はない。なぜなら、世界中にたくさんの人がいて、多くの人がその進歩を望んでいるからです。その世界中の人たちを止める有効な方法がないんです。

A：クローニングと似ているんですね。

B：すみません、クローニング？

A：クローンとは、コピーを作るという意味です。

B：ああ、なるほどね。人間のクローンですね。

A：つまり、私たちがここでやらなくても、他のところではやってしまうということです。だから止めることは不可能なんだ。
